Admission and Course Registration InformationAdmissions to WOU is required if you take nine or more credits, attend classes on campus, or pursue a program of study such as an endorsement or degree. You can fill out your admissions paperwork online. Admission to WOU is not required if you take less than nine credits as professional development through the Division of Extended Programs.

 

If you are working toward obtaining a degree, you may take nine graduate credits without official admission to the University. To continue, you must be officially admitted to Western Oregon University.

 

Register for ReadOregon classes online if you're a WOU student; otherwise, print and submit by mail or fax our Registration Form (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

 

If you are enrolling in a ReadOregon course, please fill out the free, one-time ReadOregon Application and select one of the five participating universities as your Home Institution. If you have already submitted a PrISM Oregon Application, please do not submit a sceond application unless your information has changed substantially.

Tuition

Tuition is $280 per credit regardless of the home institution.** Your home institution will not register you for classes at another institution; you must complete the registration, complete the course, obtain a transcript, and provide the transcript to your advisor at your home institution for an assessment of your progress toward program completion.
