Begin a journey into China!
China, the third largest country in the world, lies adjacent to 14 (!) countries with another six nearby neighbors across the sea.
With a population of just over 1.3 billion, it's the world's most populous country.

And a land of intrigue - the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Terra Cotta Warriors. The Silk Road, Great Wall of China, and the Bund in Shanghai.
Braised Lotus Root, Bird's Nest Soup, and Peking Duck. Dragon boats and rickshaws. Feng Shui and yin-yang. The Moon Festival.
The Four Great Inventions of ancient China: papermaking, printing, the compass, and gunpowder.
Home of Confusius, Genghis Khan, Chairman Mao, and the giant panda. The famed Yangtze, third longest river in the world; the Three Gorges; and the Tibetan "roof of the world."

Faculty and Staff Yoga - Winter 2010
Let's get fit in 2010!
Yoga has become a very popular mainstream alternative for stress reduction, increasing core strength, and correcting posture. Yoga consists of the practice of breathing, performing poses and relaxation. This practice of controlled movement and postures has many health benefits in addition to increasing your flexibility.
Faculty and staff will gain knowledge and practice various yoga stretches and poses which provide a workout for the mind and body.
Fall yoga classes begin January 4 and end March 17.
