BA/BS Degree in Criminal Justice

Students who have already met the general education requirements can earn their Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in two years by taking about 12 credits per term. All CJ majors are required to take 48 credits of core classes (listed below).

 

Students will also select at least 24 credits of electives to apply toward their major. Areas of concentration may also be selected with the help of an advisor.

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Requirements

 

Students who complete the requirements listed below are granted this degree:

  1. Minimum of 180 credit hours, including 62 upper-division (300 or 400-level)
  2. Minimum of 2.0 (C) grade point average (GPA) in all college work and all work completed at WOU
  3. Completion of Liberal Art Core Curriculum as outlined in the LACC Advising Guide
