Career and Technical Education Licensure is a pathway to teaching for candidates with an associate degree and a minimum two years working experience in a TSPC-approved CTE endorsement area.
Western Oregon University specially developed this online series for CTE I instructors working toward CTE II licenses. This 18 credit program was developed in partnership with the Oregon Department of Education and completion of this series will meet the preparation requirements set by Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) for the CTE II and CTE Restricted Substitute Licenses.

Accreditation
Western Oregon University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE), and Oregon State Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC). Accreditation documents are located in the Office of the Provost or the Hamersly Library.
