All workshops are free for Western Oregon University faculty and staff. Although
drop-ins are welcome, space permitting, you are encouraged to reserve your space in
the class by emailing the instructor. Individual instruction is also offered
on many other topics.
Tuesday, November 29: Moodle Quick Start
For instructors new to Moodle, WOU's online learning management system, here's a one-hour quick start. In this introductory workshop, you will get a chance to create your own course shell and learn how to use the most popular tools -- uploading files, managing forums, etc. Location: HL108. Thursday, December 1: Using the Moodle Gradebook
Learn how to make use of Moodle's online gradebook, which can sync up with both the quiz and the assignment tools while also allowing you to enter categories of your own (such as class participation). Location: HL108. Instructor: Scott Carter (carters@wou.edu). Time: 8:30 a.m.. to 9:30 a.m.
