Electives

 

Students are required to complete 180 credits MINIMUM and 62 credits of Upper Division MINIMUM to earn a degree from Western Oregon University. After the completion of the other components of your degree you may find yourself lacking the minimum 180 credits. In these situations students will complete elective credits to reach the minimum 180.

 

These credits can be chosen from any courses that students meet the prerequisite for. Students often choose to use these electives to take additional courses which explore unique interests or permit greater study in a major or minor.
