Instant Wolf Fridays Instant Wolf Fridays provide the opportunity for students to apply for fall 2014 admission when visiting the WOU campus. Students who provide an application for admission, $60 application fee or OUS Fee Deferral, official transcripts and ACT/SAT scores (freshmen only) will receive an admission decision or update before departing campus. High school students who will be graduating in 2015 are also invited to participate in WOU's Instant Wolf Friday programs. 2015 high school graduates will be required to provide an official transcript with grades through their junior year and a list of senior year courses. Instant Wolf Fridays will be offered each Friday through September 26 with the exception June 27 (freshman orientation), July 4 (holiday) and July 11 (freshman orientation).

Summer Campus Tours The Office of Admissions is pleased to offer tours of campus, including the residence halls, weekdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Admissions counselors are also available by appointment to meet with prospective students and their families. The WOU campus, including the Office of Admissions, will be closed on July 4 and September 1. Camps and Clinics: Team Basketball Western Oregon University athletics has several summer camps coming up this summer and registration is now open for those interested. WOU strives to be the best instructional team camp on the West Coast with clinics led by WOU coaching staff, end-game & overtime tournaments, morning skill development sessions, and Coach's Chalk Talk with WOU Staff. Play games against competitive teams from the West Coast. Games & Clinics will be held on WOU's Home floor & in WOU's Health & Wellness Center.

World's Largest Swimming Lesson Bring your kids, your grand kids or tell your friends kids about it. Western Oregon University's Health & Wellness Center is an official host site of the World's Largest Swimming Lesson!!!​ Join us for a FREE day of fun and education in the water! Registration opens at 7:30am and pool time begins at 8:00am Team WLSL? Set to Break World Record on June 20, 2014. Largest Simultaneous Swim Lesson Sends the Message Swimming Lessons Save Lives? to millions around the globe. On Friday, June 20th, 2014, we want you to join us at the pool to join tens of thousands of kids and adults at aquatic facilities around the world uniting for the fifth year in a row to set a new Guinness World Record?. The global record attempt for The World?s Largest Swimming Lesson? (WLSL), will take place at 8 am. Team WLSL holds the current Guinness World Record? for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson, which stands at 32,450 participants representing 13 different countries across five continents! The 2013 WLSL event generated more than 50 million media impressions, spreading the event?s important message to hundreds of thousands of families. Tragically, drowning remains the leading cause of unintended, injury related death for children ages 1-5, and the second leading cause of accidental death for children under 14. Research shows participation in formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by 88% among children aged 1 to 4, yet many kids do not receive formal swimming or water safety training. Western Oregon University?s Health & Wellness Center will be serving as an official Host Location Facility for the WLSL 2014 event.
