Let's Take A Walk...

From the Werner University Center, exit from the lower north door. As you continue to walk north, you'll find ~
 
A beautiful white flowering cherry
 
Prunus yedoensis 'Yoshini'
 
 
Turn right and walk between Maaske Hall and the DPSST building, cross the street and walk up to the College of Education. There, tucked into the southeast corner beside the covered walkway, you'll see:
 
An unusual shade of lavender blossom on this rhododendron
 
Rhododendron augustinii
 
 
Cross Monmouth Avenue toward the Werner University Center.
 
Admire the brilliant red azaleas in the center median as you cross.
 
Rhododendron evergreen azalea 'Hino-crimson'
 
 
Walk north toward the giant sequoia. There in bloom is:
 
A Japanese flowering cherry outside Todd Hall
 
Prunus serrulata 'Kansan' or 'Kwanzan'
 
 
Walk back to the Werner University Center and re-enter the building through the same door on the north side.
 
Enjoy the blooms of a pink rhododendron
 
Rhododendron 'Pink twins'
 
Visit again in May for another tour of our beautiful campus in bloom!
