University Diversity Committee Updates
The University Diversity Committee (UDC) has been meeting regularly during the spring term 2012 and recently held a retreat on Friday, June 22, 2012. The purpose of this meeting was to finalize and incorporate feedback from WOU stakeholders about the Diversity Action Plan for the university. In addition, we did some reflection and goal-setting for the future. We analyzed the Campus Pride data and agreed to take on this annual reporting effort and attempt to improve WOU's standing with this organization. We discussed committee membership and efforts to create subgroups that can help us focus our efforts in several areas. Minutes of this meeting can be found in the minutes section below.
