The Emeritus Society

An association of adults seeking & sharing intellectual pursuits.

The WOU Emeritus Society is open to anyone who has a love of learning. The Society exists to promote the University and for friendship for its members. Funds received from membership dues are used to provide $1,000 scholarships for WOU students. During the 2010/11 school year nine Emeritus Society Scholarships were awarded.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Monmouth Public Library unless otherwise published. A monthly trip or activity is also planned for members.
