Once again the Western Oregon University Wolves football team
is playing. the Central Washington University Wildcats in the Battle
in Seattle at Qwest Field!

The battle doesn’t stop on the field this year! The Wolves and the Wildcats go head-to-head in this year’s Clash for the Cash. This philanthropic battle challenges both WOU and CWU fans and supporters to see which school can raise more money for their students. The Clash starts on Saturday, Sept. 18, and continues through the end of the Battle in Seattle game. This year we need to show Central who’s the boss by not only beating them on the gridiron, but also in support for our students!

Friday Night at Jillian's October 15th 7:00 - 10:00 pm

Heading up to Seattle on Friday? Live in the Seattle area? After a week of work or long day of travel kick back with other Wolves fans and alumni at Jillian’s Billiards in Seattle from 7-10pm. Food and beverage is available for purchase along with pool tables and arcade games. Must be 21 years of age to enter.

Monmouth Bus

Departs from the Stadium parking lot on the WOU campus at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Loading begins at 9:30 a.m.

Portland Bus

Departs from Pinnacle Capital Mortgage, 16520 SW Upper Boones Ferry Rd, at 10:45 a.m. sharp. Loading begins at 10:30 a.m.

Pre-Game Tailgate gathering 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the FSN Lounge overlooking Qwest Field

Price is $10 per person in advance or $20 at the door

Plan to join WOU Alums, friends, and students for this event that is open to all ages. Tickets to the game (any level) are required for entrance to the event. and includes buffet and drinks (alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase).

Qwest Field WOU Football players

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the WOU Athletics Department and Ticketmaster. Tickets prices range from $15 to $35 per ticket; Ticketmaster may charge additional processing fees. For a seating chart, please see diagram below.

History of the Battle in Seattle

After Western Washington University dropped their football program, the Central Washington University Wildcats went looking for a worthy opponent to compete against and found the Wolves. In this eighth annual Battle in Seattle, these two potential GNAC championship contenders will face off in what promises to be one of the best games of the college season. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks.
