Supporting WOU's educational, research, and community service roles that build friendships and ultimately increase resources for the university
Staff in Western Oregon's Office of University Advancement, and the WOU Foundation, strive to increase visibility and promote understanding of the university among alumni, friends, and residents of the mid-Willamette Valley community. Their efforts support the educational, research, and community service roles of Western Oregon through activities which build friendships and ultimately increase resources for the university.
Alumni relations, business-industry liaison, community relations, fundraising from private foundations, legislative affairs, and planned giving are just a few of the activities of University Advancement.
