Aerospace studies
Air Force ROTC
Mission
The ROTC selects and prepares young men and women, through a program of instruction coordin-ated with the students’ normal academic curriculum, for commissioning and service as officers in the regular and reserve components of the Air Force.
Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Develop leadership skills.
- Develop character values consistent with commissioning as an officer in the Air Force.
- Develop a commitment to life-long learning as an attribute of a strong leader.
Aerospace studies minor (29 credits)
At least 18 of the 29 hours required in the minor must include the following aerospace studies courses.

AS 411, 412, 413* National Security Forces in Contemporary American Society (9)

Any Writing course offered at WOU higher than WR 135
