High school and college students are invited to attend Criminal Justice Career Day to explore educational and employment opportunities available from various agencies. Representatives from law enforcement, correctional institutions, detention and jail facilities, juvenile and adult probation and parole programs and other special service fields will be available at the career fair.

There will also be a panel of Criminal Justice professionals who will be discussing career opportunities and answering questions. WOU Faculty and Staff from the criminal justice department will also be available. If you are at all interested in a career or internship in the criminal justice field, now is a great time to get information on college degree programs, academy training and employment opportunities.

What Criminal Justice Career Day is Like

Lunch and campus tours will also be available for visiting students and their guests. The Office of Admissions will also be taking applications for WOU admission at check-in. Those who apply at the beginning of the day, will receive their admission status at the conclusion of the day. Visiting high school and college students, as well as their guests need to fill out the registration form online, but current WOU students do not need to register to attend the event.

If you would like more information about the criminal justice program at WOU, and the variety of degrees available in the field, visit the WOU Criminal Justice page. This can also give you ideas for career opportunities and answer some questions you might have about the criminal justice degree.
Registration opens in February, and the event takes place March 1, 2017.
