If you need to consult with an adviser prior to New Student Orientation, send an email with your initial question to advising@wou.edu.

If you have questions about mathematics during the academic year and are at the WOU campus, you may use the free drop-in mathematics tutoring at the WOU Math Center.


The ALEKS assessment website is new to WOU. If you have a question and don’t see your answer on our pages, please contact the WOU Mathematics Department for more information. We are happy to answer your questions

  1. Help, I have a time out error due to inactivity, but I’m still within 24 hours of when I started the test
    To solve this issue, close your browser and re-log in to the WOU Portal and into ALEKS.
    If this does not work, try clearing your browser cache and then re-log in.
    If this does not work, try a different browser (e.g., Chrome instead of Explorer).
