April 4 – 24
Members of SAGE (Student Advocates for Gender Equality) invite you to experience the Silent Witnesses Exhibit on the third floor of the Hamersly Library until the 24th of April. The Silent Witnesses represent some of the Oregon women who have died as the result of domestic violence.
A group of women artists created the first silent witness exhibit in Minnesota in 1990. By the summer of 1997, groups in all 50 states had created exhibits. These exhibits travel to different locations to raise awareness to end domestic violence.
