2003 — Norris Collection

The Norris Collection was donated to the Hamersly Library in May 2003 by Norton L. Norris. The donation includes books, prints and posters on early American history and Presidents from George Washington to George H.W. Bush, Sr., with a focus on the administrations of Washington through Kennedy.
This exhibit is a combination of portraits and campaign posters representing the scope of the collection.
Norton L. Norris (July 06, 1921 – May 25, 2003) was a journalist, editor, banker, college instructor, and consultant. He was also a noted historian, with particular expertise relating to George Washington.
