2007 — Mother Bear Project
April – May
Students and Faculty at WOU knit and crochet teddy bears by hand.
All the bears wear a red scarf in advocacy of HIV/AIDS relief.
These bears will be sent to Africa through the Mother Bear project and be given to children who have been influenced by HIV/AIDS.
The Mother Bear Project is a non-profit organization that provides comfort and hope to children in Africa who have been affected by HIV/AIDS.
Once they reach the Mother Bear Project center they will be given red hearts.
If you are interested in participating in this wonderful project please contact The Mother Bear Project or Dr. Bob Hautala at WOU.
