ROTC can help pay for school, teach leadership and how to work with others to accomplish tasks. Cadets learn land navigation, tactical leadership, physical fitness, and personal development. Interested students can contact the Military Science Department at:
(503) 838-8353, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or drop by UPCC A rm 106 by Public Safety.
Cadets are an integral part of the programs success. Cadets provide relevancy as they have real time experience gained from being a cadet.
The MSI and II years have no obligation to the Army. Sign up, get the experience, learn a few things and have some fun.
The MS/PE 118, Military Physical Conditioning, is open to all WOU students, not just cadets. If you like doing non typical fitness training, want to experience new ways of exercising, feel free to sign up, get the experience and get FIT!
Spring term has past the mid way point. The cadets training is ramping up in preparation for the up coming Spring Field Training Exercise. The FTX stresses land navigation both day and night, team building both tactically and garrison environments. This is the last time the MSIIIs will have to fine tune their skills before making the trip to FT Knox, KY for LDAC.
