Army ROTC

Labs

ROTC Cadets receive an introduction to leadership techniques, time management, ethics, critical thinking skills, and military operations within a classroom environment.  They are also provided an opportunity to apply these lessons in a field setting during weekly held practical lab exercises.  This allows the cadets to truly learn from their mistakes in a safe environment while challenging them at the same time.

Labs may range from topics covering wear and appearance of the uniform to putting land navigation skills to practice at our Local Training Area (LTA).  Labs are run by the Military Science (MS) IV class and are generally held for two hours on Thursdays at OSU.  Transportation will be provided for those cadets who need it.

We would love to have you involved in the 2008 – 2009 training exercises.
