1.  I would walk down the streets of Sienna with a feeling of claustrophobia.  First of all, there isn't as much space between buildings as there is at home.  People walk very slow and close together.  The first week this unnerved me.  After a while, I realized that what I was doing was comparing the Sienna streets with alleys back home.  Thinking of these streets as alleys unnerved me.  I feel ok with walking down the streets of Sienna now.  Time changed my view.
