1. The people here just live completely different and they have crazy schedules which was hard at first (but so much fun) to adjust to and experience. It was hard to jump into a family at first because they only spoke fast Spanish but I feel much more comfortable in my Spanish now. 2. I was excited and nervous at the same time. Everything was so new and everyone's Spanish (my host families, teachers) sounded so fast, but I didn't have any problems with easing into the culture and make friends. 3. In the last 2 weeks, I'm already feeling sad about leaving, It's gone by so fast. I'm going to try to make the most of my last two weeks. I feel like this is home right now. 4. I made amazing friends, I love my host family, I'm more comfortable in my own skin and I've traveled a lot by myself through countries. 5. I'm way more confident now and not scared to try things on my own. I feel I've really grown as a person and I have great experiences from here. 6. I'm going to be sad and miss Spain (and Europe in general). I'll be happy to be home with such a great experience behind me. I'll continue to challenge myself and I'll probably have return culture shock.
