1.  Understanding the local's world view takes some adjustment because it seems sometimes like whichever country you're in is at the center of the world.
2.  Actually looked at things with open eyes.
3.  In spite of my new perspective, I really miss how America is, that we are blessed with liberties unlike others where as here many flaunt their nationalities and are prideful of whatever they do have.
