1. It was difficult to acclimate to the speed of Italy; to the slow walking. 2. I was really irritated by people walking slow because they block my way and make me late. 3. I have begun to enjoy walking slow, I appreciate my surroundings and my day more when I relax and don't stress. I love to stroll and look in the shop windows with all the Italians. 4. I think just realizing that walking around slow people all the time uses as much time as much time as actually walking slow. I used to feel stressed and preoccupied because I wanted to get somewhere. Now I just enjoy the act of walking instead of viewing it as a means of transportation. I view it as an activity in itself. 5. I am happier and smile more because I can look and see things I missed before. I feel more like a part of the culture because I act like them. 6. I think I will continue to enjoy my walks and look around at things instead of speeding through.
