1. At the beginning my language skills were not very good and I had a hard time making myself understood. 2. Because I couldn't say what I wanted or express how I felt at the beginning (which is an important time to be able to talk to people). I had to use facial expressions, body movements and acting. I also felt isolated from most people. It was very frustrating. 3. Now my language skills are a little better and I now know more about how to explain things using non-verbal language to because I know more about how they act and think of things. It can still be frustrating. 4. Learn and using patience. 5. Because of this, I now am more animated when I speak (even in English) and more patient with others when they try to explain things to me. I also realize that I will not be able to make someone understand me perfectly all the time and I will have to accept the way they view things. 6. I expect this to help me communicate with other people in the future in a number of different encounters I will have.
