My experience had to do with the food. I'm a really picky eater and came here closed minded about trying new foods. The first week, I hardly ate because the new food scared me. After awhile I began slowly to try new foods. Some, I liked, and some I didn't. But now I have a new list of new foods that I do like. I feel good knowing that I was able to find things that I like. This will help me when I return home because I think I will be more likely to continue to try new foods. My opinion started changing about Greek food when I was able to sample various foods at group dinners. This way I avoided having to pay a lot of money for something I potentially didn't like. This change will benefit me because it will allow me to be more healthy now and when I go back home.
