As an advising tool, the Western Psychology faculty have developed a set of course clusters that seem to reflect the needs and interests of our undergraduate students. Virtually the first question asked in an advising session is "What do you want to do with your degree when you graduate from Western?" The clusters below reflect the answers that students have given over the years. Most often, students choose more than one of the clusters. They mix and match courses depending on their needs. For example, someone wanting to be a psychologist in private practice working with children and families would probably want to choose course from the t op three clusters. Please click on the clusters that interest you to see which courses the psychology faculty recommend. To see complete descriptions of the courses listed in the clusters, click on the last choice below which will take you to a complete set of course descriptions for psychology at Western Oregon University.
