Course Description: This laboratory will concern itself with methods of purifying organic compounds and will introduce methods of determining sample purity.

Chemistry Laboratory Policy

Safety goggles MUST be worn at all times in the laboratory. Each failure to comply with this rule will result in expulsion from the laboratory and a 10 point deduction from the laboratory grade!!!!

Shorts and sandals MAY NOT be worn in the lab. You will NOT be permitted to work in the laboratory wearing such items.


You MUST have a Chem Ticket with you when working in the laboratory.
