Students who are candidates for undergraduate degrees
at Western Oregon University (WOU) and who have
met all of the following requirements are eligible for membership in the Oregon Delta Chapter
of Pi Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society.
- Completed the equivalent of MTH 251, MTH 252, and either MTH 253 or MTH 254.
- Maintained the equivalent of a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4
point scale computed over all mathematics courses that lead to the fulfillment
of the requirements for a major in the mathematical sciences.
- Maintained the equivalent of a grade point average of at least
3.0 on a 4 point scale computed over all courses that lead to the fulfillment
of the requirements for an undergraduate degree.
- Completed one of the following:
- MTH 280 at WOU with a grade of at least A- and qualifying mathematics course
at WOU with a grade of at least A-.
- One qualifying mathematics course at WOU with a grade of
at least B+ and one qualifying mathematics course at WOU with a grade of at least B.
