Prerequisite Skills: Students who have completed pre-calculus or an introduction to calculus in high school and receive a qualifying score on the placement test may enroll in MTH 251 Calculus. Others may find it necessary to take MTH 111 College Algebra and MTH 112 Elementary Functions before starting the calculus sequence. These students should be advised carefully.
