popular San Juan Fieldtrip (circa

the WOU Biology faculty in 1998.
As part of the
oldest public university in Oregon,
the Biology Department has a long
history of training students for
a variety of careers ranging from
science education to medicine
to biotechnology.
Graduating classes range from
20-50 students. Our
emphasis on small class size,
hands-on experimentation and collection,
and field experience fosters an
atmosphere of cameraderie.
