R.S. Baker Scholarship

 

Founded in memory of English professor R.S. Baker in 2005, this scholarship is restricted to non-traditional students with a major in any of the Humanities Division departments (English [Literature, Linguistics, or Writing], Speech Communication, Philosophy, Spanish, German Studies, Humanities; students in Language Arts or foreign language Education degree programs are NOT eligible). The award is for $900/year ($300/term); students should apply to the WOU Financial Aid office.

 

Specific Requirements: 24 years of age or older; minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; at least sophomore standing, with at least one year at WOU.
