1. Read the first 10 pages (7-17). Stop and think of the symbolism of the set with regard to what you have learned about Winnie and Willie.
2. Why is the bag important? what is important about the contents?
3. Comment on the differences between the two characters.

5. How are the differences between Act 1 and Act 2 important?
6. Why does Willie approach her?
7. Locate two passages which give us some philosophical clues to what's happening. Why are these important?
