I was born a poor black child. I remember the days sitting on the porch with my family singing and dancing, down in Mississippi.
-Navin (Steve Martin, "The Jerk" 1979)
OK, I wasn't born in the exact circumstances above but always wanted to quote that great line. I was born in Dallas, Oregon; in the original Dallas Hospital, a year after Mr. Martin uttered these lines. I am fortunate to have a wonderful family who supports me in most that I do; my parents Tim and Kathy, my Sister Amanda and Brother-in-law Cory, and my brother Ryan. As well as my surrogate brothers Brian, Billy, Sean, and miss. Andy.
I attended Monmouth Montessori, Bridgeport and Oakdale Elementary Schools, LaCreole Middle School, and graduated from Dallas High School in 1999. I have attended Southern Oregon University, spent some time at Chemeketa Community College, and am currently finish up my B.S. in Music and my B.S. in Political Science at Western Oregon University. I hope to attend a masters and a doctoral program and teach in the political science or related filed at the collegiate level.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, am a Libra and whoops . . .
