Flute Performance

Junior

Erica is completing her Bachelor's of Music from Western Oregon University. She's in her junior year. Erica has played the flute for 10 years, Piano for 4 years, and Oboe for 2 years. As a freshman in college she started studying flute with Tom Bergeron. Moving then in her sophomore year to studying with Tim Jensen. Currently she is studying with the David Buck, the current principal flute of the Oregon Symphony. Starting also in college at Western she started studying Piano with Dr. Diane Baxter. She has also studied oboe with Shauna Purcell.
Erica has lent her talent to the Corvallis Junior Symphony and the Western Oregon Symphony Orchestra. Also to pit orchestras around the area participating in shows including, Nunsense, West Side Story, Into the Woods, The Wizard of Oz, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, They Mystery of Edwin Drood and many others. In her spare time Erica likes to crochet and participate in her church worship and drama teams.
