Born in Phoenix, AZ. Collin Dunlap began playing trumpet at the age of 12. Collin is currently enrolled at Western Oregon University, as a music major he has played in a variety of ensembles including the Western Hemisphere Orchestra and the Western Brass Quintet. Collin has recorded with the Western Hemisphere Orchestra and the band Oh Captain, My Captain. Collin is instructed by Jaimie Hall.
Collin is also a marching instructor for McNary High School. He has been involved with marching ensembles for the past seven years including the McNary Winter Drumline and the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps.
His influences include Allen Vizzutti, Philip Smith, Empire Brass, and Cuong Vu.
