BIOGRAPHY
Dylan Jones was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1985. His parents brought him to Oregon when he was two years old. Influenced by his mother's beautiful voice, he began choir in eighth grade. He continued with the choral program during high school.

Jones was inspired by his choir director to continue music in college. He is currently a senior at Western Oregon University, working on his Bachelor of Music degree. He continues to study voice with Dr. Kevin Helppie. He is also involved in Western Oregon’s Chamber Singers, Early Music Consort, and Concert Choir.

Jones has toured Germany with Festival Chorale Oregon in 2005. He performed in Western Oregon's production of West Side Story in 2006. He performed in the North Texas Jazz Festival with Soulstice in 2006. He also performed at Carnegie Hall with Chamber Singers in 2007. Upcoming trips include a tour of China with Chamber Singers this winter and a Germany tour with Festival Chorale Oregon this summer.

Some of Jones' musical influences include Copeland, Nickel Creek, The Coats, and Switchfoot. He is a member of Second Nation, a male a cappella group formed with his high school friends and classmate Joshua Bedlion. After graduation Jones would like to spend more of his time rehearsing with Second Nation.
