Joshua Michael Bedlion Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music Vocal Emphasis & Music Electronics Senior Josh Bedlion is a senior Music major and Computer Science minor at Western Oregon University. He has an emphasis as a vocalist who sung for the WOU’s Chamber Singers, the jazz choir (Soulstice), and also played drums for the Western Hemisphere Orchestra and Combo. Josh has played for a number of other students’ senior recitals and is currently working on a-cappella performance recording for his senior individual project, while trying to finish his minor requirements and graduate in 2008. After graduating, Josh plans on applying his degree towards music programming; he is interested in voice and sound samples, and the understanding of different sounds and techniques in the music world. Overall, regardless the many musical career paths in front of him, Josh is someone who plans on taking any option that comes his way, striving to capture a perfect opportunity in any given circumstance. Through all of his long and strenuous hours of work and (seemingly endless) findings of more last-minute graduation requirements, Josh definitely thanks all the faculty that have been supportive of his decisions on trying to finish and succeed as the first to graduate in his family.
