Clinical/Applied Experience


Assistant Clinical Faculty; Website Coordinator (August 2011 – August, 2013)

University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center, Gainesville, FL


Clinical Service:  Provide outpatient mental health care at the university counseling center.  Work with undergraduate and graduate students of diverse ethnicities, country of origin, socioeconomic status, family experience of college education, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and age.  Provide individual and couples counseling and assessment.  Deliver campus outreach on a variety of topics to campus agencies and organizations. 


Website Coordinator:  Work with digital and social media specialist to develop promotion and provision of services on website, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.  Oversee website committee.


Administrative Service:

  • Sustainability Committee.  Develop and promote sustainability initiatives within the center.  Also serve on Department of Student Affairs Sustainability committee.
  • Clinical Services Committee.  Monitor agency-wide case management to facilitate use of services.
  • Training Committee.  Co-facilitate spring semester bias discussion group for interns.
  • Triage Team.  Coordinate and complete clinically appropriate assignment of clients to agency services.
  • Testing and Assessment Team. Conduct ADHD testing. Complete integrated reports for disability accommodations. Supervise graduate-level trainees’ testing, interpretation, and report writing.
