The beautiful campus at Western Oregon University offers conference groups the perfect setting for any group or meeting. A full range of options for housing, combined with close coordination through the Program Manager for campus conferences will provide groups with access to smart classrooms, meeting spaces, the Hamersly Library, beautiful green spaces and the Center for Health and Wellness to name a few.

University Housing
Conference Housing Options
The residential complex at Western Oregon University offers a variety of options for Conference groups to choose from to meet their individual needs.
- Traditional Residence Hall room with shared community bath. Heritage or Ackerman Halls.
- Suite Style rooms with shared bath or private bath. Barnum Hall.
- Four person Apartment with shared kitchen and bath. Arbor Park.
THE ARBOR PARK COMPLEX:
Comprised of 3 residential buildings: Cedar, Noble and Spruce and one commons area, Sequoia Commons, the Arbor Park complex houses up to 210 residents in four-bedroom two-bath units with full kitchens.
Each private bedroom is wired for internet connection via the WOU system and has private climate control. If you bring your own TV, you will also have access to cable TV in each bedroom. The common living areas in Arbor park also offer internet and cable connections.
BARNUM, BUTLER AND GENTLE HALLS:
Barnum, Butler and Gentle Halls offer suite-style rooms to residents – all accessed from exterior entrances.
The furnished rooms in all three halls will provide a small living space with a couch, chair and lamp. A study area with 4 built-in desks and chairs and a separate sleeping area furnished with 3 beds, wardrobes and nightstands is accessed from the living/studying space. Private bathrooms complete these suites.
Internet access and cable TV are included in these suite-style facilities (bring your own TV).
HERITAGE, LANDERS AND ACKERMAN HALLS: Heritage, Landers and Ackerman Halls are all traditional residence hall style rooms – available as single or double occupancy (rates will vary).
Heritage and Ackerman access rooms off of interior corridors while Landers rooms are accessed off of an interior hallway, which in turn is accessed at either end from an exterior entrance.
All of these facilities offer internet access, cable TV and shared community bathrooms within the hallway. Ackerman, the newest residence hall on campus, also offers smart classrooms and meeting spaces and the residential rooms here provide wireless service.
