School Health Education

The School Health Education (SHE) program prepares and trains students seeking initial teacher licensure in Health Education. Students successfully completing the SHE program and teacher licensure requirements will be authorized to teach middle/high school health. The SHE program is built upon the most current national standards for preparing health educators as identified by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. Upon completion of the SHE curriculum, future school health educators move into a student teacher program that leads to licensure.
