More than 20 students were celebrated for outstanding effort at the May 1, 2007, WOU Leadership recognition event. They are:

Several teacher education majors were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at an on-campus ceremony on April 24, 2007. They are:

Students representing other majors were also inducted. Established in 1979, WOU's Chapter 223 of Phi Kappa Phi held the first initiation on May 9, 1980.
