  • The general rule is that it is easier to buy more than you think you need. PDAs don’t expand like computers.

What’s the difference between Windows CE and Palm OS?
  • Windows CE is based on the standard Windows system.  Windows users will be comfortable with the look and navigation.
  • Requires more memory
  • Files easily transfer from desktop to handheld.


  • Palm OS is a system specifically created for handheld devices.  The look and navigation may require some getting used to.
  • Requires less memory.
  • Files require conversion from desktop to handheld.
