PUC Telecommunications Assistance Programs: Loaner telecommunication devices to Oregonians with disabilities, Telephone Subsidy for low-income Oregonians, Oregon Relay Service for People with speech and hearing disabilities. Oregon Association of the Deaf Service Center: Advocacy, information and referral, social skills, education and other services for deaf and hard of hearing Oregonians. We will be selling sign language and deaf culture products at the booth as well as handing out information. Hearing Resources: amplification for classrooms/meeting rooms, iCommunicator demonstration, personal alerting devices. Light Speed Technologies: Desktop sound system for cochlear implant users, personal FM system for mild to moderate hearing loss, classroom amplification systems. Typewell Educational Transcription System: TypeWell Educational transcription system software and training. Butte Publications: Publications serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities. Regional Resource Center on Deafness: offering graduate and undergraduate degree programs for professionals entering fields that serve people who are deaf or hard of hearing; continuing education opportunities for currently practicing professionals; and consultation and community service activities designed to enhance the quality of life for all citizens who are hard of hearing or deaf. Postsecondary Education Programs Network: A national collaboration of four Regional Centers that assist postsecondary institutions across the nation to attract and effectively serve individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. American Indian Rehabilitation Research and Training Center: Information regarding RT Center projects. Deaf Northwest/Lillie Mae's Adult Foster Care: providing Deaf people with excellent care and open communications with staff who use sign language, as well as help residents to maintain the highest level of independence possible.
