Welcome to the WROCC at WOU Website:
The WROCC at WOU Outreach Site provides in-service training and technical assistance to personnel at all institutional levels including faculty, staff and administration in postsecondary, vocational, technical, adult education, rehabilitation, and continuing education programs. WROCC at WOU serves the northwest region of the United States in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
The Western Region Outreach Center & Consortia (WROCC) is one of the four Regional Postsecondary Centers for individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing which make up PEPNet (the Postsecondary Education Programs Network). PEPNET was established in 1996 under a five year contract with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. In 2001 PEPNet (and its regional centers WROCC, NETAC, PEC, and MCPO) was awarded a second five year cooperative agreement with the Department of education to continue its work through 2006.
Through national, regional and local networks, we provide information and materials from a variety of resources and experts, usually free of charge.
