Deaf Mentor Video Series

A Path to Success

Increasing Career Choices for Individuals who are Deaf & Hard of Hearing Presents:

Exploring Education

The "Deaf Mentor Video Series" features professionals who are deaf or hard of hearing discussing their career development and experiences in the workplace.  By viewing the video series, students will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the career world as well as job requirements, and the challenges and rewards of different fields.

The series consists of five videotapes: education, social and behavior sciences, arts and entertainment, science and technical fields, and business.

Videos are appropriate for students in high school or college, and work well in a career library or as a teaching tool.  Each video is divided into 5 chapters covering the career planning process:

Teachers can show videos in their entirety, or chapter by chapter as a starting point for discussion.
