Join us for an exciting, first-of-its-kind event. The Symposium on Teaching Consecutive Interpreting will bring together leaders in the fields of signed and spoken language interpreter education for learning and networking. Featured presenters include nationally and internationally recognized educators who will share the most recent research and information on teaching one particular aspect of interpreting – Consecutive Interpreting. Discussion will focus on spoken and signed language consecutive interpretation, highlighting commonalities and differences, trends and present status. Educators in the fields of signed and spoken language interpreting can learn much from each other. This event will allow for shared learning, collegiality and networking.
