Professional: Amy began her career as a graduate teaching assistant right here at WOU. Amy has taught many different health classes in the course of her career, including Techniques of Relaxation, Personal Health, Stress Management, Child and Adolescent Health, Nutrition, and Human Sexuality. Amy has a passion to empower students to make a difference in their own health and the health of others. To further this, she encourages students to work to change our food system, and founded and is co-advisor of the Green Dot club, which focuses on preventing power based personal violence. When not at Western, Amy likes to spend time with her husband and two young boys. Her interests include cooking interesting healthy meals at home, and spending time getting fit at the local fitness club and in the outdoors.
