Kim Poage - Bio
Kim Poage has called Oregon home all of her life. Along with her husband of 11 years and two young girls she resides in Salem, Ore. She is the clinical coordinator for the Rehabilitation Counselor Education program and a non-tenure track faculty. Kim holds a MS in Rehabilitation Counseling with an emphasis in Deafness and a BA in Psychology, both from Western Oregon University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Kim has worked in the field of rehabilitation counseling for the past 10 years as a State of Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation counselor, program coordinator for Independent Living Services and as a disability analyst for Disability Determination Services through the Social Security Administration. Kim has a passion for empowering students and individuals with disabilities or Deafness to find and succeed in their life's work.
