I arrived at WOU in 2006 from Michigan where I enjoyed teaching elementary physical education and coaching basketball, volleyball, track and field, and soccer at primarily the high school level. My employment background also includes a year teaching at Grand Valley State University, which is also in Michigan. In my spare time I enjoy being active outside, exploring Oregon, spending time with my family and dog, and reading.
